Aisha’s Mill, now co-run by Aisha and her son Ahmed with support from other family members, continues the long family and Palestinian tradition of stone-grinding wheat, other grains, and herbs in the forms essential to Palestinian cuisine.

Priorities for 2025: replacement of the aging wood and metal structure that supports the large runner stone. Family resources were taken up with recovering from a house fire in autumn 2024. Donations of any amount to the mill will be put to excellent use this year.
